The White Mountains of New Hampshire can be seen from Bradford Blue Wave located on the third floor of the historic Richardson Building. It's the location of the original gym in town and has been fully restored through the volunteer efforts of Bradford Blue Wave members to reflect its heritage.
This family oriented dojang teaches classic Kukkiwon style Taekwondo with Olympic style sparring. Bradford Blue Wave has about 50 students ranging in age from 5 to 61 years old.
"We encourage Taekwondo as a family activity, although we have a number of single individuals," Master Instructor Bob Kline said. "We consider discipline and respect whether at the gym, in the community and at home as core values. Our goal is also to teach Kukkiwon Taekwondo in a way that is both serious and enjoyable. We want students of all ages and ranks to have fun, enjoy and learn our art."
Master Kline began his taekwondo training in the early 80s and joined the Blue Wave in 1995. He has been the instructor at Bradford Blue Wave since 2000 under the guidance of his instructor, Master Tom Robinson.
Master Kline competed nationally in 2003 taking home gold for Olympic-style sparring. He also attended and completed the International Instructor’s Certification Course at the Kukkiwon in South Korea in 2007.
